Marie-Claude Vienneau

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marie-Claude Vienneau, of Petit-Rocher, which occurred on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at her home in Petit-Rocher.

Born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Gérald Vienneau and Lynn Vienneau.

She leaves to mourn her mother, Lynn; her brother, Alexandre Vienneau (wife Jolyane Chamberlain); her grandmother, Patricia; and her nephew, Thomas Vienneau.

She will also be deeply missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Marie-Claude will be remembered as a generous, caring person with a big heart, always wanting to make her loved ones happy. A trained teacher, she loved children, especially her nieces and nephews, whom she took great pleasure in “spoiling” during their birthdays, Christmas, Halloween, and Easter. Her most recent occupations were as a daycare educator and a sales associate at Eclipse, where she enjoyed fashion and clothing. In her free time, Marie-Claude expressed her creativity and artistic side; she enjoyed crafts and dancing, which she had practiced since childhood. She also loved swimming and being in the water, whether at the pool, river, or sea.

She will be deeply missed by her mother and her brother Alexandre. She will live in our hearts forever.

Please note that there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at St. Polycarpe Church in Petit-Rocher.
